Here's a peek into my file organization.
First I use manila file folders labeled as follows:
- notes
- personal information
- current IEP packet
- progress reports
- portfolio
- behavior
I use these folders over and over each year. When I teach students for more than one school year- I remove all paperwork and bundle up into one file and pack it away. When my students move on- I pass important info to their next teacher.
Here is what they look like organized in my cabinet drawer.
