Random Summer Purchases...

I have picked up a few odds and ends as ideas from Pinterest pop into my teacher brain. Check this out...
It may look like a pile of junk to the average viewer, but if you are on my blog, you think differently. With less than $20 I have purchased the following:
1. a bag of plastic sea horses (39 cents at a local party supply outlet) - these will be used in one of my sensory tubs during the sea animal unit
2. a white table from IKEA (a rockstar purchase at only $5 from their clearance room) - this will probably be used for my listening center...but you know that can always change
3. a package of 2 small tongs (99 cents from my local "9-9"  a.k.a. 99 cent only store) - to use for fine motor practice/sensory tub
4. an empty mayo jar (free from my trash) - to use as a magnet discovery jar seen here
5. two packages of balloons (59 cents at a local party supply outlet) - to use for beanbag balls and  play dough "wacky sacks"
6. five plastic shovels (25 cents each at a local party supply outlet) - to use in sensory tubs
7. one dozen sheets of  oriental trading fire truck and puppy stickers (69 cents each pk at a local party supply outlet) - to use during the domestic animals and community helper units
8. a 25ft roll of Xyron adhesive magnet tape ($3.50 on clearance at Walmart) - for my word wall words and student helper pictures
9. a photo brag book (99 cents from my local "9-9") - for my writing center's class directory... i only bought one to check out the quality, but I will go back to purchase at least 25 more to use for my end of the year memory books
10. a bag full of random oriental trading hibiscus print items ($2.40 at a local party supply outlet) - for my treasure box...this bag has tons of coin purses, bracelets, stickers, slap bracelets, key chains, tote bags, tattoos, pens, pencils, etc.

BREATHE...
Super wow purchases if I do say so myself! I think I felt I had to post these and officially document what I will do with each item..ya know accountability on my part...Ü
What deals have you found this summer?
